Gluten Free Penne with Mushrooms and Sweet Peas

Ingredients :

  • 1 (12 ounce) container Barilla Gluten Free Penne
  • four tablespoons more virgin olive oil
  • half of cup diced onion
  • half of pound assorted mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup peas
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • half cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese

Instructions :

Prep : 10M Cook : 6M Ready in : 20M
  • Bring a huge pot of water to a boil.
  • In a large skillet saute the onion in olive oil for approximately five mins or until barely browned. Add the mushrooms and saute for a further five minutes. Add the heavy cream and the peas; season with salt and pepper; convey to a simmer.
  • Cook the pasta in step with package guidelines; drain and toss with the sauce.
  • Remove from the heat and upload the Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese; toss to combine.
