Back West we have a favorite Mexican place (Cafe Rio) that serves sweet barbacoa pork but I wanted a more savory version of that dish for Taco Tuesday.

Barbacoa Tacos To be honest, it's pretty easy to come up with a "reason" to make it. Even though there are many different ways to make barbacoa, my favorite is with tacos. Ingredients of Barbacoa Tacos

Barbacoa Tacos Recipe : Slow braised, melt in your mouth tender beef barbacoa in a tasty sauce with spicy chipotle chilies that is perfect in tacos with diced onions and cilantro! These aren't your average beef tacos. Made with succulent beef chuck roast slow-cooked over eight hours in a blend of chipotles and herbs, this dish will be a crowd pleaser at every family dinner or potluck.   6. Add beef back to juices and toss to coat..
  7. Serve on tortilla and top with onions and lettuce..
